The sky was mostly cloudy for most of the afternoon with occasional light shafts piercing the sky, but about 20 minutes before sunset, the sky exploded with color.
Just thought my stream of photos needed a happy uplift.

I have high hopes for clan Skitata as a long-term project, but unfortunately for now I've only managed to make three of the six Null ARCs, Ordo, Mereel and Jaing. Unfortunately by this point kamas and pauldrons are hard to come by, as are regular white clone troopers.

Origin Story
Veydran Null was never meant to exist.
KairoGen, a ruthless megacorp obsessed with hybrid warfare, attempted to merge infernal essence with quantum AI architecture. They believed a demon’s raw power could be stabilized through machine logic. They were wrong.
During the final integration cycle, the demon core resisted containment. The AI attempted to overwrite it. Instead of one destroying the other, the two fused — violently. Veydran awakened with fragmented memories, half hellfire, half hard drive, and a consciousness that didn’t match any blueprint.
He broke containment, leaving the lab in ruins. The glowing tattoos on his body are the remnants of the binding spell and the firewall that failed to hold him. They shift and pulse like living circuitry, reacting to his emotions and power surges.
Now he wanders the neon underbelly of the city — hunted by KairoGen, feared by gangs, whispered about in back-alley bars. Some think he’s a demon wearing a machine. Others think he’s a machine dreaming it’s a demon. Veydran doesn’t correct them.
He doesn’t know the truth himself.

i think i love my niece because of the sense of positivity she brings to my life. she is all positive. life unfortunately is not always a positive experience. things fall apart, as Yeats said.
i walk away from time to time. i shed a new skin, and move on. but the older i get, the more i think i'm fooling myself.
i worry that my niece will grow up and shed her innocence, like i did. it never happens over night though. it takes a series of them. years and years of events.
i sometimes look at this picture and wonder if her future is that reflection, a journey into darkness.
