Did a bit of Hard Drive Housekeeping tonight and found one of many sunsets taken on the North Coast, this one was from a very windy Bedruthan Steps back in April 2014 and so I thought it was time to release it from the archives and set it Free :)

"The star of the North

will bring the shaving.

But as if seen through the sea sail,

I will become a wave and a fire,

to embrace you abroad.

And you, my lost homeland, are far away,

you will become a caress and a wound

as if dawning on another earth.

Now I fly for the festival of life.

Now I fly for my joy's celebration.

My old moons,

my new birds,

chase the sun and the day from the mountain,

to see me pass

like lightning in the sky."

This was taken on our first trip since the lockdown, about 13 miles away.

North Tower of the Golden Gate Bridge, with remains of the morning fog, from the Marina Green.

One of those near perfect San Francisco days. Temps in the low to mid 70s, sunshine, and time to kill.

A view to the North end of Spray Lake in Kananaskis Alberta. Visible are some of the peaks of Rundle Mountain. Early morning skies.

A North American Porcupine (Erethizon dorsatum) is observed in an open field, not often on the ground, feeding on dried vegetation in the apsen parkland region north of Thorhild, Alberta, Canada.

North Queensferry is a village in Fife, Scotland, on the Firth of Forth, between the Forth Bridge and the Forth Road Bridge, and 10 miles (16.1 km) from Edinburgh.

Nowadays especially known, because of the beautiful Forth bridge. The bridge was designed by Sir John Fowler and opened in 1890.

The North Rustico Lighthouse build in 1876 is a two storey structure with attached former keeper's dwelling. The tower is topped by a red iron lantern which is enclosed by a railed observation deck.

A severe winter storm in 1899 almost destroyed it. But, local residents rescued the building and nurtured it.

The style of the building is unique because it is only one of four remaining lighthouses in Prince Edward Island with attached keeper's dwellings.

The North Sea Canal (Dutch: Noordzeekanaal) is a Dutch Ship Canal, long 25 km, from Amsterdam to the North Sea at IJmuiden, constructed between 1865 and 1876 to enable seafaring Vessels to reach the Port of Amsterdam. This Man-Made Channel terminates at Amsterdam in the closed-off IJ Bay, which in turn connects to the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal.
