327/365. Finally, FINALLY, a normalizing Sunday! It was absolutely pouring all day (to the point that we noticed it's leaking around the corner of the chimney -- SIGH), and chilly, and we had a very fun miles/musculation start to the day. Then PBag was closed (what gives!) so we had Grandis for lunch with Rummikub. Then we watched a pretty dismal Bernies game but stitched and knitted and thoroughly enjoyed just being at home. Then we still had time for a nibble of the later-afternoon game before dinner (future us: orzo/chicken/herb vinaigrette/feta salad is ALWAYS perfect), a shocking appreciation for the TNG "Tin Man" episode, then cake and staying up way too late to finish reading The Couple At The Table, which was so, so, so good. (And today was hilarious for how often Barnavelt decided she needed to treat Bubbe's FOMO. She was in and out of her lap all day!)

Hundreds rally in Philadelphia under the theme of "Reject normalization, Honor the martyrs, Uplift resistance" on Oct 7, 2025.
Protesters started the march at arms-supplier-to-"Israel" Day & Zimmermann at 15th & Spring Garden. As some activists held up signs in English, Spanish, Arabic and Chinese, they marched through Chinatown chanting in Chinese "Free, Free Palestine". They stopped at the ICE Office on 8th Street for a rally against detaining migrant workers and deportations. The march ended with a final rally at the Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History, whose pro-genocide Executive Director Dan Tadmor says: "We are a proudly Jewish and proudly zionist institution."
