Tradescantia blossfediana : native of Argentina, this species in semi-prostrate habit, has fleshy leaves, oblong-elliptic olive green on the upper side and reddish-purple on the bottom, which is also covered with a dense whitish hairs. The stems are fleshy and colored red. From March to July, producing flowers (only on mature plants) 1.5-2 cm wide., Purple with white center, meeting terminal buds. In the market you can find the variety 'Variegata' with variegated leaves with creamy white.
