Guys, obviously I had no idea whatsoever for this theme. A dancing tree? Maybe. Maybe just very thin slices of paper twisted around... This same "thing" also served for a "Bad Hair Day" version (an outtake; I'm not sure if I will upload it).

As you may gather from the title, I’m horticulturally bereft of knowledge. So I’m prepared for some kind soul to enlighten me as to the name of the plant pictured.
I have noidea why thus has cliff dwellibgs in the name. No cliff dwellings just old rock walls left by ancient Indians. Hell of a view from here though. This is east of Flagstaff about 20 miles. Google it in Google Maps to see the location.

See, this is what happens when you give your backup camera to someone who has no idea of photography!
I was walking the dog last night in a local park and spotted these growing on a grassy bank. They look very exotic, at least for our villiage they are. I mean, dandylions are exotic for us.
Anyway they are about 4-6" high and my knowledge of things horticultural would be about the same a a dung-beetles' knowledge of sticky toffee pudding, so if anyone knows what the dickens these things are called, please let me know.
Let's be honest though I won't be throwing a party or anything and I can't afford to give a cash prize, but if you do know, I'll donate a few pixels to a charity of your choice.

If you're interested, this was based on one of my free (free!) presets you can download right here on the dino's blog. Available for Lightroom and Photoshop. This shot ^^^ used the 'aliumery' preset: I upped the blacks a bit (aliumery adds a *lot* of light), tweaked with the colours a little, played around. But feel free to grab that preset and the others if you like. Did I mention the free? Likely.
i really have no idea what this is... contemplative, daydreaming country girl?! whatevs. it's all i got.

okay out of a whole 12 shot film this is the only shot to have these lines at the bottom....it has happened before but only when i dropped the camera! i quite like the effect but it is very random...
I have noidea if this little hill even has a name but I called it the Hump. Located on the edge of Dartmoor its a stunning little scene that catches the early morning sun nicely. I would have liked a bit of mist but at the moment mist round my patch is as rare as....well, scotch mist!
I am now sat at my desk pondering my final week off of the year and wondering if I had a successful week photography wise. I had hoped to be deep in the woods all week capturing the golden tones of a full autumn but the weather put paid to that and i feel I am still a week or so early for it anyways. Maybe it will settle down on the weekend and I can get out on Sunday and Monday next week. But I did manage to get 6 sessions in at various locations and came away from each with some images i am happy with. One, in particular is being held back for LPOTY nest year!
