The Gang will always gather every weekend to play their all time fave DS game, Mario Kart.

Pierre - Currently in last place decides that "if I can't win, nobody else will", starts messing with Toro.

Ricky - The week in week out undisputed Mario Kart Champion.

Jun and Suzuki - Feeling the heat for 3rd place finish.

Kuro - Pleased with his performance this week.

new "what's in my bag?" the old one sucks butt.

Every year as I made a calendar of my photography I made a special shot for the cover. This was one a few years back - taken when I was living in Shinyokohama. You can see the Nissan Stadium (where they had the finals to the 2002 World Cup) and Mt Fuji in the background. It was tough coming up with all those ideas but looking back, wish I had changed more than just my hat for each pose.

This is Metal Sonic's art work in Sonic CD, it was also his first appearance in Sonic the Hedgehog.

This is Metal Sonic's appearance in Sonic Rivals, exclusive to PSP as a bonus character, he is unlocked when all other characters' storylines have been completed. His appearance looks quite familiar and the same as he was in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (Gamecube) and in Sonic Adventure 2 (Dreamcast).

This picture is Tails the fox with his Cyclone, the Cyclone is a transform of his airplane called Tornado into a walker machine. He appears like this in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.

It's a grass-type owl. How can I say no?

I sold my silver DS and 2 GBA SP's to get my DS Lite.

Skye on her Nintendo DS..

This is the new Pokemon called Piplup. I totallly cannot read that name w/out seeing "Pullip".

Craig, Jeremy, Mark, Chris, & I meet up at Casbah for some brunch.

Slime joins in on the fun.

He just looks so happy and energetic.

This is my favorite Pokemon EVER. I was so happy when I found a figure of it the other day. I love it mostly b/c I just love squirrels. ^_^ I know that "risu" means "squirrel" in Japanese, but I wonder about the "pachi" part.

Crazy Tuesday: Outdated

Still works, though, and so does the Grand Theft Auto cartridge. Great for an evening of stealing taxis and taking the noodle truck out on deliveries in Liberty City. :)

Futter & Musik. Yay!

Wer findet die Musik?

xD Don't ask (why). I just felt like being random. And hey. I love my random assortment of awesome oddness that I picked up from I don't even remember half the time.

Very limited edition! This case features my 'Tuli & Friends' characters - little tulip sprites! My own design, fabric printed by Spoonflower.

Available.

Aside from having the same haircut as me, Ryu is one of the most famous characters in the fighting game genre; hailing from the iconic Street Fighter series. As a wandering warrior who trains rigorously in order to become a true martial artist, he travels the globe to test his skills and mettle against the best fighters in the world.

Stuff just... exploded from my bag, haha. Anyway this is what's in my bag, but minus the PSP and DS during school days and add books instead.

Been looking for this one for quite some time. It ended up being really difficult for retailers to replenish their inventory because Nintendo's production of these things really suck. At this point, I'm not even the slightest tempted to open this little fucker. Why did I even bother getting one? At some point, it felt like I was chasing rainbows, looking for this thing. After quitting my search, I had ended up fortuitously stumbling upon one. I had ended up getting it just to have it.

Toro: "Why there isn't any Doko Demo Issyo for the DS?"

Kuro: "cause it's not Sony...?"

Ongoing Photo Series. Everyday Essential Items.

"It's-a me, Mario!"

He was so happy with his costume he wore it all day (the day before and the day after) pretending he was Mario jumping around and running with his Koopa shell. Even the mustache didn't bother him.

It was neat to hear people say "Look, it's Mario" when he walked by. I kept telling him he should say "Yes, it's-a me, Mario" or "Mama mia!" but he wouldn't go for it.

so many iterations...

Pretty much my entire console collection, and nearly every machine in the picture is plugged in and ready to play. Planning out where to place each machine in relation to where the wires were going to go, how long the wires are, which have SCART and which have standard TV aerials took quite some time. Top tip - those 5 in 1 SCART adapters (basically a box with 5 SCART sockets in it that sits behind your TV) are a Godsend for this kind of thing. I think I've done quite well not to have ended up with hundreds of wires spilling all over the place, but it'll probably all end in tears if I need to remove one of the consoles.

Since doing this, I've realised that the easiest way to hook a big pile of machines up is to separate the power wires from the aerial & SCART leads. Start with the power wires first, as those will be the ones on the ground (and hidden under the units) most of the time and won't be moved around as much. Start from the plug sockets and work your way back to the place where the console will be, but don't connect them to any consoles yet. Once all the power wires are plugged in and in place, push all the excess cable under the unit as much as you can, then do the same with the TV aerials / SCART leads, starting from the TV and the 5 in 1 SCART adapter and working your way back to where the console will be. As you mess with TV wires more than power supplies, it makes sense to do those second. Finally, drop in the consoles and connect everything up, before hiding as much of the aerial / SCART cables as you can.

If you have multiple Dreamcasts and you intend to plug one into a TFT, another top tip - saved games made on a regular TV don't seem to work with the TFT and vice-versa, so pick one DC to use on a TFT and stick with it or you'll get confused with your saves real quick.

To the left, I have two small baskets which hold all the loose SNES carts and all my Neo Geo Pocket games. There's a Game Gear and a Gameboy Advance just out of shot, too but neither work anymore so I didn't want to include them here. I'm planning on adding some more consoles eventually (still trying to get my hands on a Neo Geo, PC Engine Duo and a Jaguar) so I might have to take another picture with a third shelf unit added. That might be tricky...
