A lovely species which is reasonably common around waterways in Western Australia. This one was in a paperbark thicket

With the nights getting longer again and spirits falling with many new lockdowns in various countries I thought this picture of a magical night in the Lofoten Islands may lift the mood.

the first try of a long exposure at night with a vintage prime lens. the lens isn´t as sharp as it could and should be. the focussing is quite difficult with it. but the colours were great however.
