A camera made by Shackman Instruments Ltd. I was told this was salvaged from an electron microscope. It is the lens and camera back which is used to take pictures of the image which is projected on a sheet of glass affixed to the front of the camera lens (pictured in the bottom).

The camera has a Copal shutter Press No. 1 (Camerapedia: Copal), with a 51mm lens at f/1.9 and various exposure time options.

I am currently trying to manufacture an adapter to be able to use this lens on my DSLR. I have already taken a picture with this lens by holding it up to my camera.

After perusing the contents of the Blue Bomber, I helped myself to a pair of Copal model LC-177B stepper motors and seven lengths of Sumitube 5.0mm heat shrink tubing.
