For a large part of my class today, we painted with ink or watercolours using brushes on the end of long bamboo sticks... this is a 3 minute sketch of Nicky, done with a bamboo paintbrush in ink.
Messy, huh? :P
I want to show all of them, but they're huge and they look so abstract that even I can't make out what they're supposed to be anymore.

The seventh stop of my 2016 Motorsports tour was the spanish round of the World Superbike Championship in Jerez de la Frontera. Here see the result!
Midwifery student Nicky "opted in to work during the pandemic", which left her "worried for vulnerable people but glad the hospital is taking measures to protect patients and staff." She says "it's been hard with staff shortages and isolations, but there have been a lot of people coming forward to help." She hopes "NHS staff continue to get the recognition they deserve."
Nicky is one of 67 NHS staff I photographed across George Eliot Hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic first wave.
"Humans of the Pandemic" features portraits and thoughts from many roles incl. doctors, domestics, maternity, mortuary, nurses, pathology, pharmacy, physio, and surgery – to name a few.

Sorry but had to share this. This will be the last image of nicky for a while. Well after all she is great practice. I think this one of my portrait of nicky. I think again diffterent from before. I think the angle works well and i really enjoyed the post-production on this image. I also think here pose is spot on.
Strobist info: A interfit 150w light high above facing down like a beauty dish. Did have mine with me that day. Shot through a soft box @ 1/4 power.
Sadplant. I’ll never get tired of seeing Nicky do these. Shot on a Hasselblad 500 w/ 30mm CFI lens on Kodak Portra 160NC film.

I asked Nicky if she would join me and a couple of other photographer friends at an old derelict factory. She was very happy to come along and model for us and I am very happy with our results.
It was a very warm day, over 30 and very humid. I should work to minimize the sweat marks but maybe they are important. I'm not sure yet. I also don't like the visible panties under her bodysuit.
I want to go back here with a model comfortable doing this nude. Soon, I hope.
Took my grandson Nicky to his first Pirate game this summer.
Had a great time. He didn't care much for the game but Loved the munchies, perogi race, seventh inning stretch, the wave and the fireworks after the game.
