I am not a golfing enthusiast, landing mostly in the 'Good Walk Spoiled' category. However, I can appreciate the viewshed that is sometimes created by a golf course. I particularly like the county course in Morro Bay. It is very well maintained, and while I can't comment on the playing experience, I have had several nice walks along the courses (stealthily )

This was one of the craziest things that I saw at Burning Man. The top part hung precariously over the bottom truck. It looked like it would tip over at any moment.

Carmon and Laura climbed up in it one night. I was too chicken to do it.

This was a very clear morning for a flight from San Francisco airport. You can see many prominent city landmarks in this photo, including the Bay Bridge, the Golden Gate Bridge, Fishermans Wharf, Salesforce Tower, the Transamerican Pyramid Building, Mt. Tamalpais, and the Marin Headlands.

Inside City Hall. Skateboarders heaven.

Clouds were a little disappointing yesterday in the south so here's one from last week just south of Chiang Mai. I missed the best storm light here after a slow arduous walk through extremely muddy conditions in a pair of flip flops wishing I had a pair boots with me so I could at the very least kick myself for forgetting them! But then the view was spectacular and certainly one for the future when the weather worsens and my memory improves.
