Trying out a cheap set of ND filters on a Photography club outing.
I've always wanted to try out those long daylight exposures shots but wasn't prepared to fork out a load of cash just on a whim
So I bought a cheap set of 8 ND filters + Cokin P Holder and 9 lens adaptor rings and Hood for only £12.99, less than the price of 1 cokin filter
They work well, get the effect you want, white balance can be an issue so need to set it to manual and use a white card or you can fix it in post processing.
Still a work in progress but if I get the bug I can buy the better Cokins and still use the same Holder.
I have to mention on this trip, one of the guys was using Lee Filters (£115 each)!! Misjudged the position of his tripod leg, It toppled over and Bam, one cracked filter, camera was Ok, I felt his pain

This is one of the most amazing and picturesque lookout points I've ever seen! You see all of Charlotte Amalie, the bay and some of the surrounding islands. Truly a spectacular sight
The view from the top of the volcano is amazing, and even more amazing is getting this close to flowing lava. What an experience (but one which demands a lot - physically. Read Caption of previous picture)
Les couleurs des façades des appartements du Paseo Marti combinées aux voitures colorées offrent souvent de belles opportunités photographiques.
It's really a beautiful place! At first, I was wondering how it was put together in this isolated place, but after reading the materials and watching videos in the museum, it was incredibly unbelievable! I was touched!

Hawes Pier,
Queensferry, also called South Queensferry or simply "The Ferry", is a town to the west of Edinburgh, Scotland, on the shore of the Firth of Forth between the Forth Bridge, Forth Road Bridge and the Queensferry Crossing. The prefix South serves to distinguish it from North Queensferry, on the opposite shore of the Forth. Both towns derive their name from the ferry service established by Queen Margaret in the 11th century, which continued to operate right up until 1964, when the New Forth Road Bridge was opened. The original Ferry docking Hawes Pier is now used for sightseeing Boat tours which visitors can hop on either the Forth Belle or the Maid Of The Forth boats and sail under the 3 Forth bridges
