Newspaper pages... fall from the ceiling.

In this era of instant internet news, you may ask why you should save your newspaper. There are two obvious reasons:

1. For house breaking a new puppy

2. To spread out on the table when eating crabs

Well, as you can see by this photo there is an obvious third reason that even I didn’t think of ... curtains.

You never know when you might need a quick set of curtains, which also provide excellent reading material, crosswords, sudoku and the like.

Old farm house located off a rural road in Lancaster County, Virginia. The plate on the truck says Farm Use.

Last week we got called 3rd! Wow! Thank You! I wasn't expecting that at all and its the highest placing we have recieved in this competition so far. I hope that me and Xion can continue to be deliver good enough photos in order to stay in this competition!

So for this weeks theme we had to be 'Gaga 4 Gaga' which ment our models had to model fashions inspired by the legendary queen of pop, Lady GaGa! The insperation for my photo is this one; michaelpeck.files.wordpress.com/2010/04/lady-gaga-david-l.... Hopefully you can see the insperation I used! This theme was quite difficult actually and I spent alot of time doing Xion's hair (it took a lot of hairspray!) and making the newspaper outfit. Hopefully we fit the brief and hopefully we will get to stay another week in the competition!

This man was selling several years old newspapers to tourists sitting in Cafes at the bottom of Calle Obispo, which is the busiest tourist street of Old Havana. My brother would probably buy it. Daily Newspapers such as Granma, Juventud Rebelde, Orbe are still selling on the corners of the city by specialized vendors. I would bet, that this guy is earning more money by selling the old issues, then the guys (always guys) selling the fresh news.
