Lower Manhattan from the Goldman building on the Jersey City side of the river. Finally a bright and sunny day.
Taken with an iPhone 4S when I was in New York in 2012. This was before I even started pursuing photography, but luckily I found this shot a few years later.
La rotule de pied mal serrée et le boîtier qui pique du nez … Photo floue donc ratée ? Finalement l’effet est amusant et met bien en évidence la verticalité de cette ville.

This photo is all about exposure – timing was critical to capture the two sailing ships between the piers ( a combination of luck and visually seeing what I wanted). Next to get the smooth water on a day when the water was choppy, meant a long 30 second exposure. If it was all one photo – the sailing ships would be a blur if anything.
This is two separate shots, one for the sailing ships and one for the water and rest of the scene.

WTC #4. To see these amazing architectural masterpieces being built is really pretty awesome. I for one can't wait till they get completed. I believe they are planning shopping center's and restaurants in one of the buildings.
Have a great week everyone~!
