At midnight, the NEW YEAR 2018 was welcomed outside in the Wild Garden with just one quiet but bright sparkler – no animal was disturbed here in the deep countryside - and the stray cat came out of the wood shed to curiously follow what was going on with the sparkling stars …….

A ring on the doorbell and to our surprise it was my brother-in-law with this lovely bunch of flowers as a new year present though he'd already given us a Christmas gift.
I imagine that the most that many of us wish for in these troubled times in the coming year is peace both within our countries and between them. I also wish for the best in the personal lives of our flickr friends. I so enjoy all your photos mainly on my contacts page. I am sorry that poor health prevents me from commenting so much these days but I still enjoy and very much appreciate your photos, comments and favours..

I include this to show I do have a sense of humour ...just set out and see what I get (mostly) ...at home a while ago ...I collect these cards and the tin has an old Citroen 2CV on it ...the DAB radio lives there ...I used to be a real fan of radio but the Audio quality today is awful ...SW radio was better than a lot of the current quality
My goal has been to down-size my blythe collection and get more organized with it for some time now. I can finally say that I'm done organizing it and feel great! The down-sizing has been on-going and still a work in progress. I have 1 large box for all stock clothing, and one of my antique cabinets is now all organized with pretty boxes with various items in it and a note stating what is in that particular box. One entire box for Darling Diva stock - it's that much stock for her! And one of our Dealers at the store gave me a really cool vintage gold rack that is PERFECT for hanging most of the dresses on! Such a relief to have this project down now!
