My first Miata, used alloy wheels to replace stock steel wheels
Garden Village, Burnaby, British Columbia
My mum has been looking for a new car for a little while. She found one this week: A different colour and newer, but the same model as her last one (she's a Vauxhall woman through and through!)
My entry for No.49 - Something Shiny, in 113 in 2013.
Darcy on Watson Island, Miami, FL
I always thought I will keep Nigel forever, but stuff happened and Ivan talked me into visiting the MINI dealership to look at the new MINI Cooper Roadsters and go for a test drive. This was two weeks ago. One thing let to another and Friday evening I could take Darcy home.
She had a mere 8 miles on the odometer when we left the dealership.
We gave her a bath Saturday morning and then headed to Miami and Key Biscayne for some picture taking and top down motoring.
Once a grand touring coach of Cotters from Glasgow, new in 1964.
Despite many change of owner it retained Cotters Black and orange colours.
Sheldons bought it for contract work, taking workers to and from the chicken factory on the moors. Seen here in Sheldons Yard.
Its cosmetically a mess but still solid and runs well. I doubt it will pass many more tests to stay on the road though.

It was a windy day and the bike blew over a couple of times while taking photos. Just after this was taken it fell over and damaged the top tube, straching it up pretty good. I was less than amused.
I have new wheels. I've only waited for them for the better part of a year. And they were so worth the wait.
After several months away getting a major overhaul from Black Saddle Bike Shop I was happy to be reunited with my Surly Midnight Special. New features of note include a new wheel set (WTB KOM Tough) and the addition of a SP 7 Series Dynamo Front Hub with front and rear lights by Supernova Lighting Systems Thanks to Simon Pokorny for putting in the long hours to make this project possible, it only seemed fitting to get out and hit 38 miles for my belated 37th birthday ride. A few pictures of the bike were a must, I even caught the start of the second Cap City Cyclists Madison Madison Monday ride of the year.
