Instead of going to Williamstown, DERMPAV's RM58 heads through Melbourne's inner north, seen branching off the Cragieburn Line at Newmarket and heading onto the Flemington Racecourse line, where the DERM would turn around.

One from the archives back in Co, Cork. On this particular day there were hundreds of damselflies in among the streamside vegetation. This one landed on a Buttercup flower. You can just make out a blue species behind also. Lovely memories, HBBBT everyone!

After traversing the ONR from Rouyn-Noranda, CN detour train 577 (321 in disguise with most traffic from St. Lambert) is back on CN rails rolling south out of the siding at Martins on a beautiful winter's day in Muskoka. The logistics challenges of rerouting traffic on the Newmarket Sub had this train double over into the rickety spur into Panolam to meet two long detouring northbounds, getting a new crew in the process.
We stopped at Red's on an road trip around the region. Red was in back of his building, where he was welding a frame for a car port in his back lot. Red graciously allowed us to look at and photograph his cars and trucks.
