Ken & I bought a little cottage in New Orleans! We have worked our fingers to the bone cleaning and organizing, but WOW! Still a LONG way to go! It is tiny and wonderful! We have christened the house "Lagniappe," which means "something extra!" It really is a LOT extra for us! Now we will bounce back and forth between Riversong here in Athens, and Lagniappe in New Orleans! It really is a dream come true and we have worked hard to make it happen! :)

(Yeah, SOMEbody needs to wash those windows, but I sure didn't have time yet!)

Alex and Quinn got their first house, and are finding out the joys of home ownership. Lots of tasks in front of them, but they are happy with it (isn't it obvious?). We all spent the day working hard, painting and cleaning, but more importantly, spending time with each other and sharing in their happiness. I got to paint the Rainbow Room (pictured), which will be the new Projection /Movie room.

REB and I bought a house!! We closed on it today and then went over to it to take "new homeowner" pics in front of it. Standard. It just so happened I had a little robot friend in my purse so he got to sneak into a picture too ;) We are so beyond excited and ready to make this house a true home and make it our own!

Demolition started today. Wish me luck!

A series I have been contemplating about since I bought my new house. The concept is to show off the rooms in my house from the doorknob's perspective. We'll see how it goes.

This is my bedroom. It is not in it's natural state. I actually cleaned it before I took this shot.
