Der Ägelsee, auch Egelsee, ist ein kleiner Toteissee auf dem Gemeindegebiet von Zeiningen, Kanton Aargau, Schweiz. Das rund 7500 m² grosse Naturschutzgebiet ist ein Amphibienlaichgebiet von nationaler Bedeutung.
Ägelsee (or Egelsee) is a small lake in the municipality of Zeiningen, Canton of Aargau, Switzerland. The 7500 m² nature preserve is an amphibian spawning area of national importance.

This was the scene one October morning overlooking Blue Mountain Lake in the Adirondacks National Park. I used a graduated ND filter to balance out the colour and light level in the sky. I really like how I managed to capture the mists rising from the lake, as well as the fog rolling over the mountain in the distance.
A Snowy Egret (Egretta thula) stands on the rocks at the Jupiter Inlet as ocean waves splash all around. Captured this past weekend with my new 500mm lens. I feel so excited to have made this long-overdue, big-girl addition to my photography toolbox! Can't wait to capture more with her! :)
