In a natural world that seems to be getting swiftly smaller, the confluence and combination of man made structures with nature is becoming increasingly popular. Instead of keeping nature out or separated, we integrate to a beautiful effect. © 2011-Current.

Check out that ceiling, huh? That's just something else. This abandoned room was built above an old train depot and most likely was for temporary rent for visitors coming to this central Pennsylvania town. The next room over was bright blue with gold trim while this room sported a garish pink and green theme. © 2013-Current.
This vintage flower power bus belonged to a couple of vintage Florida hippies that were enjoying a day hiking in the forest.
It's really hard to imagine, standing there in May, looking out across the field where Pickett's Charge took place during the Battle of Gettysburg. Where I stand, taking this photo, was the Confederate side, where young men were being commanded to perform a last ditch effort by running straight across this field to the Union line which stood where those first trees are. It was hot this day in May; meanwhile the battle took place in the beginning of July. I try to imagine standing in hot cotton confederate uniforms, being told to run with clunky muskets, towards a line of Union troops standing still, ready to fire. Only a few Confederates made it past the Union line where they were either shot or they surrendered. Man... I would have been a terrible soldier. If Pickett told me to charge across this HUGE expanse, I would have deserted. © 2010-Current.
