SpiNNaker (Spiking Neural Network architecture) is a massively parallel, manycore supercomputer architecture designed by the Advanced Processor Technologies Research Group (APT) at the Department of Computer Science, University of Manchester. I always love the way light trails echo the interior workings of the brain with similarity to neural synaptic motion inside our minds.
A growing album of carefully curated digital artworks imagining fantastic but often scary alien worlds with strange creatures and monsters. These images were created by two high-end GPUs over the course of many days with various tweaks to maintain a consistent and evocative artistic feel. More will be added over time.
