Every year City Year Boston hosts our 18 Minute Networking event, where corps members practice their networking skills and develop important connections for their post-City Year plans. Through this event, the corps can explore different career and educational paths while cultivating essential professional skills.

Network For Success is a networking group that meets every Wednesday at 7:30 AM to help each other grow our businesses. Usually about 30 people show up each week.
Mingle Media TV Network and our host, Kristyn Burtt, were invited to cover the Oscars Nomination announcement today (bright and early) at the Samuel Goldwyn Theatre by Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Tom Sherak and Oscar-nominated actress Jennifer Lawrence.
The Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2011 will be presented on Sunday, February 26, 2012, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center®, and televised live by the ABC Television Network. The Oscar presentation also will be televised live in more than 200 countries worldwide.

Follow the Academy
The Graziadio Alumni Network Los Angeles hosted a prospective non-profit board member mixer and information session to help connect Southern California non-profit organizations in need of board members to professionals with skills in all areas of business, including finance, marketing, fund-raising, law, strategy, and entrepreneurship. Keynote speaker Ann Burroughs, Executive Director of the Taproot Foundation and Chair of the Board, Amnesty International USA, shared her experiences with non-profit boards and the personal rewards service can provide. An evening of facilitated networking followed to encourage attendees to advance their careers through connections with others that share the same commitment to our community.
