For this design I created letterforms that represent the word Spirited. The first row is the original text that I made and outline of. On the second row I wanted to use peace and objects that represent freedom. For the third row I used swirls to represent wind and waves. Lastly I drew needle and thread to show flow and to incorporate a free spirit job. Since there is a lot of freedom in designing clothing.
Needle-and-thread growing along the Rio Grande riparian corridor and associated trail system. This site lies along the Rio Grande and the Paseo del Bosque trail, near Campbell Road NW, Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico. Even with immature fruits, the lemmas and awns show no evidence of well-developed hairs that will mature into plumose awns indicative of New Mexico feathergrass, Stipa neomexicana.
I don't have great sewing skills but I'm thankful that @littlethingsoflife taught me the basics and to at least not be scared to try. A $2.79 spool of thread is a lot cheaper than a seamstress. #sewing #needleandthread
Forget the current atmosphere of make do and mend -- I was raised that way and am much more likely to fix something than to discard it. Tonight, I finally got around to mending a hole in my favourite sweater (the seam had separated for about a three inch section). It took about 5 minutes but I will get months, or maybe years more wear out of it.

This beast exploded while being moved from one device to another. An unfinished series dealing with a Bear and his doll- whose head has a habit of falling off at inconvenient moments.
