4-H Clover College is a four-day series of hands-on workshops for youth presented by Nebraska Extension in Lancaster County.

 

In the “Cluck, Cluck, Quack!” workshop, youth learned about chickens, ducks, etc. through various activities such as bingo and a Jeopardy-type game. They also made clucking chicken cups. Instructors: The Egg Basket 4-H Club.

At Lancaster County 4-H's Furniture Painting Workshop held in April 16, 2016 at the Lancaster Extension Education Center, youth learned how to prepare new and used wood furniture by sanding, sealing, painting and decorating.

19 youth participated in the 2016 4-H Bicycle Safety Contest on June 25 at the Lancaster Extension Education Center.

 

There are two parts of the contest. In the bicycle skills events, 4-H’ers maneuver through several designated courses to test their riding skills and safety. A bicycle inspection reinforces the importance of bicycle maintenance and safety features.

 

The Bicycle Safety Contest is a Lancaster County Super Fair 4-H contest held before the Super Fair.
