Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks so much everyone for your visit and support.
A green one too! This is 1121 (VDV 121S) in Western National colours heading down Paris Street on its way back to Westpoint. Far too much to date this scene unfortunately with the car, the bus lane and the complete rebuilding of the shops in the background.
I was visiting a small museum (not a store) of movie & television vintage props & related equipment, etc. This NBC Studios fresnel light (from the 1950’s & 60’s & probably later) was, most likely. used on the Johnny Carson "Tonight" Show & a few others, from that time period. The multi-faceted & ringed fresnel lens in this light is widely used in movies & television as an accurate & adjustable light source. Much larger fresnel lenses were also used in lighthouses & could be seen for very great distances.

La bohème (French pronunciation: [la bɔ.ɛm], Italian: [la boˈɛm]) is an opera in four acts, composed by Giacomo Puccini to an Italian libretto by Luigi Illica and Giuseppe Giacosa, based on Scènes de la vie de bohème by Henri Murger. The world premiere performance of La bohème was in Turin on 1 February 1896 at the Teatro Regio, conducted by the young Arturo Toscanini; its U.S. premiere took place the next year, 1897, in Los Angeles. Since then, La bohème has become part of the standard Italian opera repertory and is one of the most frequently performed operas worldwide.
In 1946, fifty years after the opera's premiere, Toscanini conducted a performance of it on radio with the NBC Symphony Orchestra. This performance was eventually released on records and on Compact Disc. It is the only recording of a Puccini opera by its original conductor (see Recordings below).

This was the only night I had in Chicago that was blessed with clouds. Caught some nice movement with a few stars peaking out on the right hand side, a subtle bonus.

A short while ago I posted a black and white shot of this duo but showing the rear of the Leopard and the front od the Seddon. This (former b&w) photo is from the same source, but I've spent a little while colourising it.
The Leopard tow-car is an ex North Western example and would have been acquired when a portion of that business came Crosville's way circa 1970 when NBC cut and carved it. The Seddon is one of the infamous delivery that Crosville ended up with when they allegedly couldn't get sufficient Bristol REs. The RU was an aquired taste and I think its fair to say that few developed that taste. The Crosville examples were almost universally unpopular with drivers. In this shot, it appears that it was having a minor re-furb or MoT as some of the rear seating is missing. In the last post, the front end was in the course of having accident damage sorted.
I believe that in the last few weeks the final remnents of the garage have disappeared.
