I've included my Nam figures as well just as they fit better in this collection than going backwards and including them with my ww2 figures. I've also put a few of my Police SWAT figures in the photo although they are not an official military force. Again just as they fit with modern figures.
I haven't included my UN figures in the Photo...I have 20 of them. I'm still deciding what weapons they will have and I got lazy after setting all these up as it took a fair while to get them out of storage and decide who had what weapon with what I had on hand to give them.
I'm not seeing as many great modern builds as there was just a few years back..maybe the best time came and went although I hope not.

The Royal Netherlands Navy HNLMS Rotterdam fills the night sky of Dublin's River Liffey while on a courtesy visit to the city.
Rotterdam is the first navy visit since Covid-19 restrictions in March 2020, another sign of times returning to normal.
Arriving on Saturday 2nd October, berthing at Cruise 18 beside the East Link toll bridge, at 166 meters, it provided great photo opportunities of this gigantic Landing Platform Dock (LPD) amphibious warfare ship, its two landing craft were on display alongside. The ship also features a large helicopter deck & internal hangar.

Hey guys!
I decided to do some modding(I know) and here is what happened!
The M4 has a 3x magnifier(from ARC), Hollow sight(from HAC), suppressor(from spy pistol), and foregrip (from XMP).
I also added a pouch from an LCV onto the rails, which, in my opinion looks kind of like an IR laser.
I put a small pouch and backpack from the new webgear onto the front and back of a PCV and added a stun grenade to the back.
Please bombard me with questions if you are curious about anything on the fig!
C&C appreciated!
God bless!
~Henry
I have quite a few more fig combos but didn't include them as it would give away what my next few Nam builds are ; )
A lot of people like to follow WW2 or Modern Military, where as the Vietnam war is something many want to forget or pass over, it was one of the most costly wars for the US and spanned not only years but different presidents and whole changes in culture. It's something that should be taught and something people should learn about. Nam vets get a rougher deal then WW2 vets, and it's stupid, they were no less heroes then the ww2 guys IMO. In many cases the people signing up believed what they were told by the government about communism taking over the whole world and wanted to help stop it or they had no choice and were drafted, heck many went because other family and friends had gone and wanted to do whatever they could to help. There are no 100% heroes or villains in life or war and many of the Nam vets on both sides went through Hell on earth, they got my respect.
I put a filter on the pic to try get a similar look of a photograph from that actual time period.
Navy seal members wait for the enemy to get off their boats and onto the beach but they will never see it coming it's a massacre in waiting. happy 4th guys also you would never guess where took it. not California or florida . it's Indiana or Indiana dunes . it on the south tip of Lake Michigan. great place exactly like the east or west coast but with no salt . I recommend to go for anyone in the Midwest.

Chad - "Cultural Liaison"
The Alien visitor known simple as Chad. a prisoner of Ibrup who is reluctantly assisting with intel regarding the Alien invasion in return for his own continued survival. A coward and not particularly trustworthy. Chad gives IBRUP just enough information to remain a valid "asset".
Corporal Roger Jenkins
A strange fish, one of the first abductee's to be returned back to Earth. He has a fight or flight instinct when faced with Aliens. Prefers to shoot them but has been known to simply just "cheese it" when the chips are down. A member of the British Army formerly SAS but dishonourably discharged. Adopted by IBRUP in an effort to keep him quiet. Loathes Chad but has resisted the urge to put a bullet in his brain or runaway so far....
Bart White
Former Navy Seal. A Sharp Shooter of the highest quality. Doesn't say much, very much believes actions speak louder than words. Closing in on Chris Kyles sniper record with over 100 confirmed Alien combatant kills. Is a living legend for having taken down an Alien Immortal class hunter/saucer single handed.
Lucien Regnard - Psy-Ops & Tech Guru
Originally a Bureaucrat working for the Government in Quebec. One of the very select few psychic individuals not currently confined to Guantanamo Bay for testing and/or evaluation. Gifted with the ability to connect to both human and alien tech. Although physically weak this Canadian has a mind made of granite.
Doug Straw
A Nam' veteran who was both a chopper pilot and medic. A decorated hero yanked out of retirement for one last hurrah. Doug leads IBRUP field ops, Equipped with his briefcase of alien artefacts he always seems to have the right gear to save the day and get the gang home.
The Briefcase itself is an alien artefact. When opened it always seems to contain a new or completely different item to the one that was last left in it. If items are taken out of it they are never replaced.

Here is the second making of video for this picture ->
www.flickr.com/photos/shobrick/44550166495
The video is showing 4 main stages :
- The building of the set pieces, the buildings and the neon billboards.
- The costumization and the posing of the minifigs.
- The lighting process (how I built the light).
- The compliation of all the pictures, that shows the research for the best composition, lighting and live effects. And the final result image.
The main idea is to get everything in camera on the set and not to create anything in post-production as it will look less organic. Just like in movies, you try to get as much as live effects as you can.
I hope you enjoyed the behind the scenes video, please don't hesitate if you have any questions on the creating process and don't hesitate to leave a comment if you think that's awesome ! ;-)
