She was chatting with someone, but all I captured was her singular image and her shadow. It was a very hot August afternoon at the Subdued Stringband Jamboree. The light at this time of day and year can be spectacular.
She was chatting with friends at the Sea, Song, and Suds event on our island. Natural beauty personified!
Such a beauty, I still would love to somehow own this kitty, heh. It angers me that its owners don't even have a tag with a phone number or anything on it, in case it were to get lost or worse. Care for your animals. This sweetie deserves better. :/

She was one of the performers at the Subdued Stringband Jamboree. When it started to rain she took shelter under one of the tent tarps. The light through the translucent tarp produced a very mild warmish hue. I was sheltering under an adjacent tarp; that light affected the hues also... and she has such a charming smile!!
This was taken on a country road near our place up the hill. The flowers were bountiful and the clouds were beautiful. Later the next month the landowners (fenced in game ranch) sprayed all these flowers before they seeded to clear the fenceline. This infuriated me...my blood was boiling. How can anyone put money and ego before something like this? It boggles my mind. I am anxious to see how it does this year. Plus they scraped the land where they were. Things like this sadden me.
