Suppose you will be arriving Tokyo Narita international airport at 9:30 am and next flight is at 5:00 pm.
Where do you have to go for a photo shoot and nice food?
There are a few attractions in the vicinity if you have a layover and don't want to waste two hours of it on the long ride to central Tokyo.
Just ten minutes by train from the airport, historic town of Narita offers you a quintessential Japanese experience. Narita actually is very charming town with a lot of atmospheric streets lined with old wooden shops and traditional Japanese restaurants.
But if you are a curious person like me, how about starting transit tour from the pedestrian underpass connecting airport terminal 2 and railway station of Higashi-Narita that once was a gateway to the airport. Terminal 2 is 500 meters away from Higashi-Narita, whose next stop is Narita town.
