I stopped by the Mount Washington Hotel on my way back from phtographing lupines and I couldn't resist taking a picture of this iconic hotel. I need to get back here in the fall and winter too.

I should have stayed a little longer because apparently, the light got pretty dramatic just after sunset with all types of light rays poking through the clouds. Chris Whiton of White Mountain Images captured a gorgeous image and posted it on his FB page.

NEW HASHIMA(端島) Isn't just a bunch of buildings , it's also a busy city with cars and trucks.

As we were all madly creating cubes and towers I asked the group: "Do we have cars for the road?" The answer was apparently not ... so I decided to spend the last hour of each build session working on some street vehicles. The first set I did was this truck and some variations of the first design.

The first one you can tell was built when I was still heavily building my Police station and shared the exact same colour scheme. shhhh....

Piscataquog River swimming hole with one beautiful glacial erratic plopped in the middle. This was about 11.0 miles into a mapped out 30 mile loop. I stopped here for a breather, some continued riverside solitude and a snack.
