On our way to Canada we stopped at Glacier National Park. It seemed to be peak color. This is a view looking down from going to the sun road.
Capitol Reef National Park is one of the lessor visited parks in Utah but in my opinion still very scenic.
When we stopped at the visitor center, I saw this cool picture of this old barn up on one of the walls. I thought it made a great composition so I had to capture it.
Luckily it's only a mile or 2 down from the visitor center at the Gifford Homestead.
Per the National Park service website... The original home was built in 1908 by polygamist Calvin Pendleton. He and his family occupied it for eight years. The original house had a combined front room/kitchen and two small bedrooms. An outside ladder accessed two upstairs bedrooms. Pendleton also constructed the barn and smokehouse, as well as the rock walls near the house and on the mesa slopes above it.

There was a light snow that had fallen in Arches National Park the day before we got there. It was nice to see that it hadn't melted as it provides some nice contrast amongst the landscape.
This is an example of one of the many hiking paths within the park. The evening sun was just hitting the peaks of the rocks in the distance.
Shot from a distance with the OM1 72mm lens, equivalent to 144mm on full frame. It is very sharp, very happy with this lens.
Badlands National Park, South Dakota, USA
Badlands are a type of dry terrain where softer sedimentary rocks and clay-rich soils have been extensively eroded. They are characterized by steep slopes and minimal vegetation. You're not alone if you compare this piece of South Dakota with the Mars.
Taroko National Park is one of the nine national parks in Taiwan and was named after the Taroko Gorge, the landmark gorge of the park carved by the Liwu River. The park spans Taichung Municipality, Nantou County, and Hualien County and is located at Xiulin Township, Hualien County, Taiwan.
Came upon this view while hiking up to Lake Agnes there in Banff National Park. Just had to stop and take a shot ... hard to do this view justice but liked the interplay of tall pines and the peaks and the patch of blue sky through the clouds.
