Honolulu International Airport - PHNL / HNL

Boeing 717 in Honolulu.

N494HA @HNL 05.15.23

Rolling out after landing, Honolulu airport, Oahu, Hawaii. Note engine thrust reversers are deployed. I have close-ups of 717 thrust reversers taken at Midwest's headquarters and a walkaround. Pretty, tidy, airplanes.

Remarkably after the very long, high capacity MD-80 aka DC-9 Super 81, 82, 83 and 88, even the shorter MD-87, the MD-95 offered the DC-9-30 seat count, and wing size, with the MD-88 glass cockpit and new technology Rolls Royce turbo-fan engines.
