When we got married we thought we should get some rings. Into a local store in Albuquerque we went and picked a matching pair. Chosen for the pretty inlays in the silver. The intention was we'd get "proper' rings another time. We never did as these silver Native American rings properly suit our needs perfectly.

I spent a beautiful Easter Monday at the Roe Valley Country Park in Limavady.
The sun was out and it really was a gorgeous Spring day :)
I kept my Sigma 150-500mm lens on most of the day, but it didn't stop me getting this shot of the rocks and stones in the river, and I loved how the sun glinted over the ripples :)
I love this verse of scripture, which reminds me how much protection I have in the Lord. I have no need to fear anyone or anything :)

I have had several requests asking for pictures of David and I together so have delved into my archives to find some of my favourite shots. These are all taken 6 - 7 years ago when we were both a little younger and both in better condition healthwise. David is 21 years older than I am and in my mind I am the one who should be looking after him, but things rarely work out the way we expect them too and it is now he who is taking very good care of me whilst I endure this battle with the cancer multiple myeloma. I truly don't know what I would do if I didn't have him. He is my rock and my support and his love, which is forever growing stronger, keeps me going even on my darkest days. Thank you my darling, I love you always and forever. xxx

Few words on the bands
*Soundtruck: Soundtruck were formed in Athens on 2008, initially as a cover band, playing AC/DC, ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd among others, touring around Greece. Soon they attracted the attention for their unique style and energy on stage. After several successful appearances, they started recording their own material on December 2010 at NURV Studios in Athens. 6 months later, mastering took place at the Sterling Sound Studios of New York, under George Marino, famous for his work with AC/DC, Bon Jovi, and Metallica.
The official release date was June 18, 2012, when Soundrtuck opened the legendary Lynyrd Skynyrd’s live in Athens, in front of 10.000 people. Since then, they are working on their next shows, and new material for their next CD.

This time we are singing to spread smiles!
On Sunday, April 7 at Tora K44 we will be welcoming onstage Skysent LU (hard rock/heavy metal), Bluwalk (rock n' roll, blues) and Ex-Girlfriend's Perfume (rock), to a different live show!
Youth Gone Wild Act 2: Music for Smiles is designed to support “The Smile of the Child”, the non-profit voluntary organization, whose main objective is to defend childrens’ rights and ensure they have the necessary so as to achieve physical, mental, and spiritual health.
This live show will have an optional entrance fee of 3 EUR, that will be gathered in a pot handled by “The Smile of the Child” and will be solely distributed to meet the organization’s needs. On the day of the live show, volunteers from “The Smile of the Child” will be on site with intent to inform attendees on the organization and its activities.
At the end of the live show, representatives of the organization, in the presence of the organizers, will proceed to counting the funds and providing proof of equal amount.
Our objective in this live show is to participate to the efforts of the organization with what we have to offer: MUSIC! We’ll be expecting you to this unforgettable rock night!
The gig will be broadcasted live from Redrock.gr!!
