Must be gone for a while. Have many darling dresses to show....sorry that I am behind on showing so many of them. Feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment...and need some photo mojo too.

Thanks so much to Cagla of Blythe Chic for this cool dress!! We love it!!

There must have been a lot of nutrient blown ashore to fertilize the wildflowers at the shore of Lake St. Clair (Michigan). The pink flowers in the foreground are Common Milkweed, a favorite of Monarch Butterflies. Behind are Blue Vervain, and the wild snakelike whips with yellow clusters of flowers are Black Mustard.

The tallest of the flowers was taller than me! 5'11" (180cm)

If you live in Rennes and if you aim at being a photographer, shooting the Horizon building is mandatory. Selected by Flickr Explore, July 9th 2017.

A Delightful Morning in the Garden :)

I must look clueless when I am out shooting and have sad puppy dog eyes were friendly people want to help correct my ways.

On this sunset, I was at Panorama Point in Capitol Reef National Park. The "view" is the opposite direction, and I was set up with my tripod looking in the opposite direction from everyone else.

Three separate people came up to me, letting me know where I was supposed to be shooting. I thanked them for their kindness and stood my ground :-)

you must have a green heart, and next you must have a green mind. These combined with a little muscle are needed to produce a green thumb and a beautiful garden :-)

A MUST VIEWED LARGE!!!

This is one of my all time favourite image because of its unusualness, This is again off the shore at Whitstable kent, England taken on the same morning as the previous posting, we came across this fisherman wading about 100 yards in the sea but what makes this for unusual is those wind turbines in the distance ! I have not seen anything like this before!

This tower once was part of the Medieval city walls of Delft, buit at the start of the 16th century. The tower is called St. Huybrechtstoren after the patron saint of the hunt.

In a world filled with anger, we must still dare to comfort.

In a world filled with despair, we must still dare to dream.

And in a world filled with distrust, we must still dare to believe.”

"And it's falling apart

Around us now

The room in a spin

I hear the howl of the wind

And the pounding of the rain

And I'd give everything to dream again

There must be more than

Surviving, surviving

Surviving, surviving

Surviving, surviving

And nothing else"

I must have said

Sometimes I feel adrift

You reveal your ways

At sometime today

How did I get here

And where will I leave

Oh, the peasant in me

So easily deceived

Sometime soon

The fool next to you

The wall you never noticed

Collecting your dust

Collecting your favors

That you, you believe are stolen

Oh, somebody will notice

And you'll be the one so easily deceived

So easily

So easily

So easily

How did I get here

And where will I leave

Oh, the peasant in me

So easily deceived

I usually only see green herons on spring migration so was surprised to see this one in the middle of the summer. It must have been looking for a good place to eat. Myself, I will be taking a flickr break to go do some wandering myself.

must be my Beatrix Potter phase .

I must apologise about my lack of activity on Flickr. I am still passionate about photography but struggle to find the time take photos, process them and keep in touch with all my friends on Flickr as well as living a busy life out side of Flickr.

I still want to share my photos with all of you,

If I have not stopped by your stream for a while forgive me It is nothing personal I am still keeping a silent eye on most of you guys.

.. if I post a fence.

Have a peaceful weekend, wherever you are!

This little sparrow and the buddies love bathing and I love watching them.

It's the law here that you have geraniums in a window box

(just kidding)

Happy Friday !

It must have been a good dream, it looks as though this fox is smiling as it wakes up from a nap.

It is amazing that a fox can sleep comfortably in temperatures well below freezing. It's common to see a fox sound asleep on top of the snow, especially on sunny spring days.

Chances are, there is a den nearby and this fox's mate was attending the kits.

We must have seen at least a dozen of these alien looking cloud formations during our trip to SoCal, but this one was closer to us than than any of the rest. It seemed to be spinning like a giant mass of clay shaped by the hands of an invisible potter.
