I am starting to change direction a little bit with images like this toning them with subtle colours, and I thought I would start with this one which I just love I hope you all do!

We woke up at 4am to photograph Bow Lake and after that decided to take the 3 hour drive to Jasper and over to Malinge Lake and Spirit Island. This was a must see for me and was well worth the precious $$ to get there and for the boat ride. Enjoy!! VLOG below..
A grizzly in Denali National Park on the hunt for sustenance.
By August, which is early Autumn in Alaska, grizzlies are eating constantly, predominantly soapberries and blueberries. This mama bear had two older cubs with her, and their hyperphagia made them nearly oblivious to the tour bus driving along the road.

I was going to try and do something else for my daily pic, but it's nearly lunch time and I must get on and do some of that dreaded housework ... I'm out and about for the next 3 days, and no housework will get done then.
I must look clueless when I am out shooting and have sad puppy dog eyes were friendly people want to help correct my ways.
On this sunset, I was at Panorama Point in Capitol Reef National Park. The "view" is the opposite direction, and I was set up with my tripod looking in the opposite direction from everyone else.
Three separate people came up to me, letting me know where I was supposed to be shooting. I thanked them for their kindness and stood my ground :-)

an instance of one of our many pass road crossings during our round trip around Iceland. This pass road crosses one of the mountain ranges flanking Iceland's Westfjords and the compacted snow to the right gives an idea about the amount of snow coming down here and what struggle it must be to keep these roads usable during the long winter month!
Well, I must confess that this is probably my favorite sight of the Cinco Towers from my surroundings, so after the sundown I went to my favorite spot for taking this picture with the last colors of sunset in a partly cloudy sky that brought us very comforting and necessary rains during the morning.
Taken at 9:03 pm with about 73F or 22ºC in a very pleasant evening over Madrid.
I hope you like this picture and I wish you a great night or day, depending wherever you are.

Bueno, debo confesar que esta es probablemente mi vista favorita de las Cinco Torres desde mi entorno, así que después del atardecer fui a mi lugar favorito para tomar esta foto con los últimos colores del atardecer en un cielo medio nublado que nos trajo unas lluvias necesarias y reconfortantes durante la mañana.
Tomada a las 21:03 con unos 22ºC de temperatura en una tarde muy agradable sobre Madrid.
Espero que os guste esta foto y os deseo una gran noche o día, dependiendo de dónde os encontréis.

Snowdonia in such great weather must be as close to heaven one can be. Back from a wonderful walk, on superb paths and with a marvellous little cafe to visit on the way back home!
Snowdonia is a fantastick part of Britain for those who want to walk in beautiful landscape and be able to get great views with moderate efforts.
We have been here twice in April, and the weather have been rather nice both times. I can imagine how wonderful it must be in summer on a nice day. But I suppose it will be rather crowded here then. And the price of B/B and self catering much higher. And there is also the little problem that as a farmer is it impossble for me to go in summer :-)
There are many more photos from the walk down from Y-Garn, and our lunch at the amazing little cafe named... well, look through the pictures and find out what it is named. The name couldn't have been more wrong!
It must have been a good dream, it looks as though this fox is smiling as it wakes up from a nap.
It is amazing that a fox can sleep comfortably in temperatures well below freezing.It's common to see a fox sound asleep on top of the snow, especially on sunny spring days.
Chances are, there is a den nearby and this fox's mate was attending the kits.
