The blind musician. We arrived in Chiang Mai on Sunday, big market day! The northern part of the country is well known for its craft. Most of the craft sold anywhere in the country comes from this area… We bought some stuff, but as this was our real first day in the country, we deliberately limited ourselves so we wouldn’t be too loaded. This turned out to be the last stuff we bought.
One thing that stroke us was the blind musicians in this market. They are actually in almost every markets. Blind singers, guitar players, and even bands, playing music more or less accurately. This one was pretty good. I gave him 50 bahts (1.25 euros) before I took this pic.

Miles Peter Kane (born 17 March 1986) is an English musician, best known as the co-frontman of The Last Shadow Puppets and former frontman of The Rascals, before the band announced their break-up in August 2009.
He is currently pursuing a solo career, and continues to be a part of The Last Shadow Puppets. His debut solo album, Colour of the Trap, was released on 9 May 2011 and the follow-up, Don't Forget Who You Are was released on 3 June 2013. In early 2009, after his last tour with The Rascals, Miles Kane left the band to focus on a solo career. Inspired by a classic, smart 60s Mod theme he signed with Columbia Records[8] and began recording his solo album with Dan Carey and Dan the Automator, who had previously worked with Gorillaz and Kasabian.
Part of the ritual in which Tibetan Buddhist monks destroyed a sand peace mandala that they had taken seven days to make. The ritual is done as a reminder of the impermanence of all things.
