Nearly 11 years after rolling out of the Muncie, IN plant in Reading paint, NS SD70ACe 1067 has once again emerged with a new coat of paint thanks to shop personnel at Juniata Locomotive Works in Altoona, PA. The 1067 is pictured leading train 22X on the Passaic & Harsimus Branch in Newark, NJ bound for Croxton Yard in Jersey City, NJ with a short train.

This is where I lived from circa 1972-1977. Most of the plants and trees in the photo were planted by my father with the exception of those near the front porch and on either side of the garage.
I wanted to show this to a freind, and it appears that I did not previously upload it. Now everyone gets to see it. ;-)
Interesting tidbit. At some point, they totally renumbered everything. "41 Bayberry Lane" no longer exists.

June 19, 1978 marks the first publication of Garfield. He joins Jon Arbunkle and dog Odie in their little house set in Muncie, Indiana. As of 2013, it was syndicated in roughly 2,580 newspapers and journals, and held the Guinness World Record for being the world's most widely syndicated comic strip.
The colors of the Lackawanna were a favorite at Spencer, NC, on 7-4-12 at the North Carolina Transportation Museum.
The paint was so fresh we could easily smell it. Heck, it dried at 60 MPH on the way down from Muncie...
The Muncie Mall opened in 1970 the original anchors where Grants, Britt's, and Sears. Grants later became JCPenney. Britt's later on became L.S.
