The Cookstown Ontario section of the Trans Canada Trail looks like it enters directly into nature in this photo. Although it does feel like you are somewhat secluded in nature, it also gives you glimpses on the countryside as you travel further along the trail towards Thornton, Ontario.

The Trans Canada Trail on the Cookstown Ontario section passed by some high laneway trees which added to the uniqueness of the trail. The diversity of the trail led me through natural surroundings of trees, shrubs, rivers and countryside backgrounds.

A Little Blue Heron at Lover's Key State Park near Fort Myers Beach, Florida.
From the state park's web page: For years, Lovers Key was accessible only by boat and it was said that only lovers traveled to the island to enjoy its remote and solitary beach. Today, it is one of four barrier islands that make up this state park. A haven for wildlife, the islands and their waters are home to West Indian manatees, bottlenose dolphins, roseate spoonbills, marsh rabbits, and bald eagles. The two mile long beach is accessible by boardwalk or tram and is popular for shelling, swimming, picnicking, and sunbathing. Black Island has over five miles of multiuse trails for hiking and bicycling. Anglers and boaters can launch their vessels from the park's boat ramp.
A complete multi-use trail has now been created from 57 Avenue to Saddleback Road! The multiuse trail is on the west side of 111 street. Photo is the south view near 54 Avenue

This section of the Trans Canada Trail is in the town of Thornton, Ontario. There were great pictures of countryside landscapes and as you can see nice flowers lining the trail. Not sure what type of flowers these are, Tiger Lilies?

Cars, motorbikes, oh my..... (for those of you not familar, this is a take on the "Wizard of Oz" where dorothy says "lions and tigers and bears..oh my")
Our client asked for a show-car garage, pool house, exterior kitchen, loft, home office and bathroom. We were able to ground this multi-purpose structure by pulling key exterior features from their home. Higly innovative when the twin towers were designed in the 1960's. The twin with semicircular balconies are part of a multiuse complex of residences, parking (open), marina, restaurant, shops, theatre and hotel. Estas torres gemelas forman parte de un complejo multiusos. Uno de los elementos más llamativos es que el parking, que ocupa las platas inferiores, es abierto, de modo que hay que tener precaución al aparcar. Innovador para los años sesenta en que fueron construidas.

Seguin Trail at Hwy 11 crossing just south of Emsdale Rd. Photo is taken from under the northbound lanes of Hwy 11, viewed westerly with the structure for the southbound lanes visible.
Note that some sources, including the Park to Park Trail Association, who are probably correct, state that the Seguin Trail (OFSC Route C103D) ends (i.e. changes its name) at Fern Glen to the west of Hwy 11, but for now I don't know what else to call this portion other than the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs designation, Route "D".
Laneway of trees lined the pathway as I hiked along the Cookstown Ontario section of the Trans Canada Trail. My enthusiasm was heightened as I was excited to see what was around the corner and upcoming on the trail in nature.
