На данный момент, наверное, мы знаем все о Мухаммеде Али.

Бесчисленное количество книг рассматривает различные аспекты жизни "Величайшего", некоторые из них даже акцентированы на одном из его боев или же на всех 74 годах жизни Чемпиона.

Новая книга которая называется "Мухаммед Али: В цифрах" от президента Compubox Боба Каннобио и историка в области бокса Ли Грувса.

В данной книге мы ознакамливаемся с некоторыми аспектами и взглядами, которые никогда ранее не публиковались и не рассматривались, но не стоит забывать, что часто мифы берут верх над реалиями, когда речь идет о такой Легенде как Али.

И это не совсем плохо, так как это только прибавляет славы Али - легенде мирового бокса, лучшему в тяжелом веса на все времена.

Спросите кого нибудь о "Грохоте в джунглях", эпическом состязании против Джорджа Формана. Первая мысль, которую вам озвучат - что на тот момент все думали что Али будет размазан "Большим Джорджем", который к тому моменту уже разнес в пух и прах двух серьезных оппонентов - Кена Нортона и Джо Фрейзера.

И данный ответ вряд ли будет отличаться друг от друга. Далее вам расскажут что Али победил, и конечно же то, как он использовал тактику "от каната до каната", для того чтобы сбить с толку Формана, а затем и вовсе нокаутировать его.

И снова ничего нового в истории, которую мы знаем, все знают что Али вытерпел 7 раундов избиения прежде чем разделаться с Форманом в 8 - ом раунде KO.

A Rolls Royce driver--possibly Muhammad Ali--stops on a Heather Hill street to talk to a pedestrian.

Ali, a homeowner in the neighborhood, was known to have purchased several Rolls Royces in the early 1970s, as it was one of his favorite cars. In his 1977 divorce, his ex-wife Khalilah was awarded the Flossmoor home and one of the Rolls Royces.
