Sorry I'm late adding this description. This photo was taken by my grandfather and I had these slides in my possession for a while but didn't know this even existed until about a year or two ago. There are hundreds if not thousands of slides and I've only gone through a few and found this. I've found 4 Ali photos taken by my grandfather so far.

Everybody has to take off own shoes before go inside the mosque.

Lieutenant general Ahmad Pasha al-Munkali was one of the most famous Egyptian military leaders of the 19th cent. He participated in the Egyptian–Ottoman War (1831–1833), Syrian Druze revolt (1838), Egyptian–Ottoman War (1839–1841), and the Crimean War (1853-1856). He was Governor of Sudan (1844-1845), and Minister of Defence several times during his career. His son, Jalal Pasha, married Princess Zubaida bint Muhammad Ali Pasha Al-Saghir, granddaughter of Muhammad 'Ali Pasha al-Kabir.
