WORLD CULTURAL HERITAGE
Mount Fiji, the highest mountain of Japan has been a symbol of worship for many Japanese for its dignified shape and pure beauty. Many people climbed the top to offer their prayer for their health and prosperity for ages. For those who tried to climb the top, many routes were developed and lodging inns were built, and for those who could not climb the steep and high mountain, many temples and shrines were built along the routes at the foot of the mountains. The mountain and its surrounding remains/buildings are now preserved under the designation of the UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage in 2017.
I photographed Mt. Fuji from the roof of a nearby supermarket. The weather was not good, it was cloudy. Unlike the weather, shopping at supermarkets was a lot of enjoy. Shopping will be stress relief.

国立市から撮影しました。富士山の上を飛んでいるように見えますが、富士山までは80㎞、またこの飛行機までは約10㎞です。
This is NOT composite.It is 80km to Mt.Fuji and about 10km to the airplane.
富士山はどの角度から撮っても絵になる。
左右対称に近い円錐形をしており、この形は「完璧な自然美」の象徴とされる。その自然美が、季節や時間帯、天候によって表情を変えてゆく。
We could get nice picture of MtFuji from any angle.
Because It has actually cone shape that is close to symmetry, and this shape is considered a symbol of "perfect natural beauty".
The natural beauty changes its expression depending on the season, time of day, and weather.
