This is a life-changing set of wheels. Now Masika - who has cerebral palsy - and her mum Genivah can get to a vital disability support group, safely.
In Uganda, where discrimination against people with disability is widespread, this support group is saving lives. Genivah has learned how to care her daughter, and keep her healthy.
And as well as providing the right wheelchairs, and the right training, the UK aid funded Motivation project helps parents and carers like Genivah find ways to make a living.
Today, Genivah is planning for the future. For herself and her family – a weaving business. For Masika – the chance to go to school.

I have been wanting to start a group for a while. Something to bring photographers together for support and motivation. Project Focus will start this Monday, and the first project is an A-Z challenge. Check it out if you're interested and would like to start shooting more.

Young people in Ladybarn will be trying their hand at mechanics thanks to a donation of bikes by the Didsbury Neighbourhood Policing Team.
Ten cycles, which otherwise would have gone to auction have been donated to the Youth Motivation Project at Ladybarn Community Centre by Greater Manchester Police.
Under the watchful eye of bike mechanic Gary Levesconte (also known as Bubble) young people will fix the bikes so that they can be enjoyed by more than 40 members of project.
Inspector David Nutsey from the Didsbury Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “The Ladybarn Community Centre do a lot of positive work with young people in the area and I know that they’ll get a lot of good use and enjoyment out of the bikes.
“Donating the bikes complements our ongoing work to build links and rapports with young people and I cannot think of a better use for them.”

Okay, it's starting!
This is more of a motivational project to inspire myself to be more artistic. It's also to relax and get myself out of work mode after a full day of analysing figures. I haven't quite started learning how to post process yet, but my goal is to have started by at least 100 (saving money for lightroom :p)
I'm pretty sure the main person who will visit this stream regularly will be my sister (@warnjai), who I love to share my photos (and everything else) with.
Please enjoy the first of many to come :)
