First a short history lesson..Think about this short list : RAZOR 1911, Fairlight, CLASS, Myth, D.O.D, Paradigm and many many others.. In case you don't know what all these names mean I must tell you they were one of the best software piracy groups. These groups are composed from very skilled programmers (coderz), musicians & artists (gfxerz). It's true they took unreleased software (mostly games) which was later on ripped, cracked and y released to the internet afterwards. Yes this was a crime! But this people actually changed the gaming industry. And many of their members were involved in the demoscene... and some of these members actually went to work for the game companies.
Okay, but now you would say : "why make a tribute to a bunch of people involved in illegal activities ?" well my video is not a tribute to their crimes, by contrary it's a tribute to their skills, their mentality and of course to their scene.
On the technical side I can tell that only After Effects was used, nothing really fancy, the work was done in a regular sdtv format, and the song used is : Tocotronic - Morgen Wird Wie Heute Sein, mixed by Funkstörung.
8 SP students and a lecturer from the Diploma in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics went on an awesome storm-chasing trip in Tucson, Arizona, guided by reowned storm chaser Alister Chapman.

On the first series of idents, Proud and Matt Pyke of Universal Everything worked together to develop a concept based on magnetism. The uncontrollable attraction reflects the Welsh feeling of emotional affinity to their country whether near or far and the feeling of completeness when returning home. Multi award winning director Simon Ratigan joined Proud to put his own distinctive visual twist on the creative.

Cortometraje MORFO.
Del cielo cae una gota de lluvia que revienta con muchos colores, de esta nace Morfo, constituido con formas geometricas observa los paisajes grises y mecanicos del centro de santiago sin que nadie le preste atencion, Asi llorando desde un puente cae la lagrima llenando de colores el rio mapocho y sorprendido empieza a llenar de colores la ciudad. En un jardin con una flor sin vida morfo se acerca, la toca y la revive.

my interpretation of jared work is giving script generated art a life and see what happens. just like the way that we can predict certain things in life but after all we don't have control over all the things happen in life.
reminded me once again, art work is not only to please the eyes of the audience. it is more meaningful to express and deliver a philosophy and view points. jared work inspires me.
