This breed of dog often had serious respiratory problems because of the short snout.

You've seen these boots in several pictures. The right boot has a hole in the sole along with a large rip in the back of the shaft. One pull-strap is completely gone. The left boot is in better shape, though both pull-straps are broken. Once all the mopping is done, I'm leaving them down there.

 

BTW, with all the rips and holes in them, they soak up water like a sponge. My feet are soaked.

A term used frequently to describe the merger back then. Here, a westbound expedited rolls down through Cajon on April 24, 1988 behind four GE's. The first two are Missouri Pacific C36-7's, in their as-delivered UP yellow/grey paint. These would have looked great in Jenks blue, but it was not to be.

The Mother Load of Mother of Pearl buttons found in a charity shop in aid of retired working horses in Aberteifi (Cardigan), Wales. Together with the haul in the next pic the lot came to £1.20....yes I did say keep the change :) px

July the 10th.

I mopped the floor, wore an anklet that I just finished, called a friend, and punished the dog.

I also made a promise not to post any more leg pictures... for a little while.

Last night, I went out of the office a bit early, and had the chance to go around my apartment, uncleaned for almost a month. Blogged
