"Moos am Stamm" eines Baumstumpfs im Großensee.

Der Großensee ist in Schleswig-Holstein zwischen den Gemeinden Großensee und Lütjensee gelegenes Gewässer.

Der See liegt im südlichen Stormarn ca. 10 km östlich von Hamburg in einer eiszeitlichen Senke und befindet sich seit den 1920er Jahren im Besitz der Freien und Hansestadt Hamburg. Er zählt zu den Rinnenseen, die sich in der Weichsel-Eiszeit überwiegend durch Schmelzwassererosion unter dem Eis gebildet haben. Seine Größe beträgt 0,73 km² seine Uferlinie 5,8 km. Angaben zur Tiefe sind uneinheitlich. So wird die größte Tiefe mit 16,4, angegeben.
