Full Moon - February 27th, 2010

I love full moons!

The high over cast skies, the late blue light of sunset and a sliver of the moon (with earth glow) lends to the other world feeling. At first I wasn't going to bother, but it keep nagging me...so here it is.

The Moon is an astronomical body that orbits planet Earth and is Earth's only permanent natural satellite.

The almost full blue moon, from early this morning. I could become addicted.

I love the huge sky-view windows in this apartment.

It only happens every couple of years.....two full moons in the same month.

October 25th -- the Moon is closest to the Earth and so its the largest and the brightest full Moon of this year!

Wow, that was an interesting experience… I never got up before for a lunar eclipse. But it’s definitely worth a glimpse ;)

A friend lent me a Tamron SP 1:8 500 MM Lens with a 2x tele-extender. It was a clear night so I thought I'd try a moon shot
