Steerers :

The first steering correction is related to the steering of the beam obtained from the Linac. A perfectly centered, perpendicular beam must be obtained from the Linac. Further steering corrections must be included to correct for magnet misalignment.

Monitors :

The Monitors are designed as current transformer, the primary being the beam that passes through a ferrite ring, which has a number of secondary windings for the measurement circuit. The electronics are made in such a way that the monitor acts as a pulse transformer.
