The Water monitor, (Varanus salvator) is a large species of monitor lizard capable of growing over 3 meters (9.8 ft) in length, with the average size of most adults at 2.5 meters (8.2 ft) long. Maximum weight of Varanus salvator can be over 75 kg, but most are half that size. Their body is muscular with a long powerful laterally compressed tail. Water monitors are one of the most common monitor lizards found throughout Asia, and range from Sri Lanka, India, Indochina, the Malay Peninsula and various islands of Indonesia, living in areas close to water.
Finally got my Klipsch sub working again after sending it in for repair twice and having to buy a replacement DIN cable. Using it at the office for now as I rarely listen to music on my home system.
Tonight I went to my photography class so I didn't get a chance to take any other pictures. Therefore this is my 365 shot for today.

This is my messy desk with new 22" Samsung 1080 HD monitor plus my old 17" monitor as a second screen.
It's actually slightly too large to focus on everything at once.
Taken in my gardens this Lace Monitor, notice his tongue shooting out into the hole in the tree looking for insects.

This is the 1st Xerox with glass face I had, fantastic thing to have glass face unlike all the bare LCDs nowadays. This one stopped working a few years back I replaced the Caps but no good. I put the inverter back in it and powered it up after soldering caps back on it.
It went Bang and smelled so I pulled power lead.
Bridge rectifier seems to be the problem as its visiblyt cracked. Front face is away from body. What is weird though is the + symbol is on the backface of the missing surface. Was this f'd all along and just blew up now?
Will be getting a controller board and remote system for it so I can get it back to some use at least.
If it had been fixed it would have saved me €144!!. Or if i had seen the germans selling a spare screen for €35+20 to door I would have saved €90 but no! its more crap to fail for me.
