Suggan Buggan is a locality in the remote wilderness of north-eastern Gippsland in Victoria, Australia, 10 km from the border with New South Wales. Only about five or six people live here permanently, but campers and those who love the wilderness visit the area. The traditional custodians of the area are the Bidawal and Nindi-Ngudjam Ngarigu Monero peoples.
Suggan Buggan is surrounded by the Alpine National Park, the south flowing Snowy River draining the area.
Geological mapping shows that the overall 'grain' of Victoria's bedrock geology trends in a north-south direction, which is revealed in this easterly view across the valleys and ranges. This is a legacy of the ancient geological plate-tectonic processes that once operated to lift and fold, fracture and uplift this part of the Australian continent.
This scene and atmosphere is very Australian:
> the mountains and valleys with almost no sign of human activity,
> the blue haze in the atmosphere, and
> the outline of the eucalypt forests silhouetted on the ridge lines.
This particular part of our country is associated with well known folklore - legends and legendry people.
This is Australia!

1/2 Parc du Mont-Tremblant, j'ai parlé avec 2 gardes du Parc qui, d'après eux, l'année 2019 sera une mauvaise année pour la reproduction des huards, beaucoup trop d'eau qui a retarder la nidification. Pas de petits au lac Moneroe, sur le lac Escalier, juste des adultes. En kayak, sur une pointe de lac tranquille je suis tombé sur ce nid, en observant de loin, puis de plus en plus proche, l'adulte couvant semblait très calme et ne pas tenir compte de ma présence ! j'ai pu l'observer et le photographier assez longtemps en fin de journée ! se nettoyer, fermer les yeux, s'abrever et même à un certain moment, tourner de bord ses 2 œufs. J'ai pris une image ou l'on voit bien sa poitrine toute mouillée et sale.
Remarquez la courte distance entre le niveau de l'eau et le dessus du nid ! À cette date, j'ai bien peur qu'il n'y ai pas de naissance ?? Ça fait plusieurs années que les niveaux des lacs sont très élevé !!
La Escalera
El emblemático edificio de la Gran Vía de Madrid alberga el Espacio Fundación Telefónica, un lugar que nace con la vocación de convertirse en punto de encuentro de la cultura del Siglo XXI en pleno corazón de la capital.

Control Glass ha fabricado la espectacular escalera helicoidal que comunica las cuatro plantas del edificio en vidrio templado laminado 8+8 extraclaro, instalado por Grupo Metal System en este singular proyecto dirigido por el arquitecto Miguel Ángel García Alonso, del estudio Quanto Arquitectura, en colaboración con Moneo Brock Estudio
The Stairs
The emblematic building on Madrid's Gran Vía houses the Espacio Fundación Telefónica, a place that was created with the aim of becoming a meeting point for 21st century culture in the heart of the capital.
The old headquarters of Telefónica, a building from 1929, has undergone an intense remodeling process to house the new Space called to become a center of cultural reference, with exhibition halls, training rooms and an auditorium.
Control Glass has manufactured the spectacular helical staircase that connects the four floors of the building in extra-clear 8+8 laminated tempered glass, installed by Grupo Metal System in this unique project directed by the architect Miguel Ángel García Alonso, from the Quanto Arquitectura studio, in collaboration with Monero Brock Studio.
The Lemon Duck cryptocurrency-mining botnet has added the ProxyLogon group of exploits to its bag of tricks, targeting Microsoft Exchange servers.
Lemon Duck targets victims’ computer resources to mine the Monero virtual currency, with self-propagating capabilities and a modular framework that allows it to infect additional systems that become part of the botnet. It has been active since at least the end of December 2018, and Cisco Talos calls it “one of the more complex” mining botnets, with several interesting tricks up its sleeve.

December 20, 1963, was a busy day on the Rio Grande narrow gauge for the three of us. In the morning, we followed X480 West from Chama to Monero. Monero, New Mexico, was a tank and coal tipple 19 miles west of Chama on the Durango line. Later, we followed the first and second Cumbres Turns from Chama to Cumbres.
In this image, the 480 crosses a dry wash and approaches the frozen Monero tank. On the head end are several cars of pipe for the Farmington branch. The train will not stop for water this day but will pick up several cars of coal at the tipple a short distance ahead. Photo by Joe McMillan with Steve Patterson and John Charles.
The last train on this line, Subdivision 12, between Chama and Durango, was in 1968. In 1969, the ICC gave the Rio Grande authority to abandon the line.
Rio Grande X480 West has just picked up several gondolas of coal from a spur track at the tipple at Monero, New Mexico, 19 miles west of Chama on the Chama-Durango line. A long train from Chama to Durango on the Rio Grande narrow gauge heads into Monero Canyon, west of Chama. This is from a poorly exposed negative with blown out highlights and detail lost in dark shadows....not sure how I did that. But it is an interesting scene that I can't repeat so I did what I could with Photoshop and Topaz AI.
Pepe, a creator of "mojigangas" or "monos," uses the sidewalk of the Pan American Highway in Oaxaca as his workshop.
