This is Mandara, our pregnant gorilla at National Zoo...to the best of my knowledge, she's not given birth but the keepers have expected it to be any day for a couple of weeks now. This will be her sixth birth so she's an experienced and wonderful mom. Since her last two were boys, I'm really hoping for a girl this time!
I was out of town for the holidays, so I really need to get back to the zoo for a impending birth update.
