Trying so hard to look natural.
I have to get better at making people feel more at ease. I think I get so wound up just setting up and trying to get the lights just so that I unintentionally make the people around me tense up. This learning process is just that, a learning process. More often than not I catch myself becoming increasingly less patient.

one must have beautiful images made when they are pregnant because if you don’t have a photography session while you’re pregnant, you’ve lost the chance to create once in a lifetime memory – you can’t get them back. Photos also trigger memories, feelings, emotions… they help you remember more vividly the awesome and equally weird time in your life. And I can assure you that when your children are a little older, they will be delighted to see the photos of their pregnant mama, while they were growing inside of you.

This is the shot that made me decide to consider buying an alienbee b1600.
I will still use my small speedlights 80 percent of the time because I really think that they are good enough to do the job; however, if I wanted to get a little more creative with my images I have to look for other tools to create the effect that I have in my mind.
