Wikipedia: Noto (italià) / Nuotu (sicilià) és un municipi italià de l'illa de Sicília a la província de Siracusa. L'any 2006 tenia 23.473 habitants. Limita amb els municipis d'Avola, Canicattini Bagni, Ispica (RG), Modica (RG), Pachino, Palazzolo Acreide, Rosolini i Siracusa. Noto representa l'exemple més interessant de l'aplicació de les teories urbanístiques de l'època, possible mercès a l'impuls i al fervor que tingué al govern virrei-al, la noblesa, l'Església i les Ordes religioses, així com tota la població. El gran patrimoni històric i artístic difós per tot el territori, recuperat de les ruïnes habitades o produït per a orgull de la nova ciutat, és tal, que documenta dignament les glories d'un centre que fou una important referencia política, econòmica i cultural de l'antiga sots-divisió geogràfica i administrativa de Sicília, com a capital de la Vall homònima.
A tant sols 10 k. De la costa Jònica, als peus de la serra hyblaea, es troba en el centre d'un territori molt significatiu tant des del punt de vits de la naturalesa, com ho testifiquen la presencia de dos Reserves naturals, que des del punt de vista del paisatge humà, prova d'això són els signes de la històrica relació de transformació del territori. No menys importants són els testimonis arqueològics, des de l'edat prehistòrica a alt-medieval, els de les arts figuratives de tots els segles i els d'arquitectura barroca.

The male models get a little daring--they carry wooden closets and stand on top of them, while other models dance around them as if they're being reborn. The designers work around the layering of the bodies, using fabrics like wool, knitwear, and other classic material, then adding something strange to them.

Mount Mangart (2,677 m asl) straddles the Italy-Slovenia border, on whose sides, on the Slovenian side, a wonderful alpine road climbs (at the price of a modest sum) which leads up to the Mangart saddle, at an altitude of 2050m. From here you have a breathtaking view of the surrounding peaks and the beautiful lakes of Fusine observable from the top of an overhang with more than a thousand meters of jump.
A cavallo del confine Italia-Slovenia sorge il monte Mangart (2.677 m s.l.m.) sui cui fianchi, sul lato sloveno si inerpica una meravigliosa strada alpina (al prezzo di una modica cifra) che conduce fino alla sella del Mangart, a quota 2050m. Da qui si ha una vista mozzafiato sulle vette circostanti e sugli stupendi laghi di Fusine osservabili dalla sommità di uno strapiombo con più di mille metri di salto.
